VISION AND DRIVE FOR A THRIVING DISTRICT 5

MEET JENN

Jenn Puja is a proud Westchester native, lifelong advocate, and community leader dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities. Raised in Harrison’s Silver Lake neighborhood, she grew up with a deep commitment to public service. As Executive Director of the Westchester/Putnam Central Labor Body AFL-CIO and the youngest woman elected to the White Plains Common Council, Jenn has led efforts to champion workers’ rights, expand affordable housing, and promote sustainability. Her passion for community shines through in every role she takes on, working to ensure a vibrant and equitable Westchester for all.

WHY I'M
RUNNING

I am running for Westchester County Legislator, District 5, because I believe in the power of community and the importance of accessible, inclusive leadership. From White Plains to West Harrison and Scarsdale, this district embodies the best of Westchester: vibrant neighborhoods, diverse voices, and incredible potential.

As a member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators Labor and Human Rights Committee since 2018, I advocated to help pass impactful legislation like the Earned Sick Leave law, the Wage Theft (No Pay, No Way) Bill, the Immigration Protection Act, and the Displaced Worker Act. These achievements remind me that when we prioritize people and work together, we can create meaningful change.
